Lead Pastor

Pastor Jonathan Bull (he/him) is the lead Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westerville. A 1992 and 1989 graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capital University, Pastor Bull holds both an MDiv and a BA in Business Administration. Pastor Bull serves on the Southern Ohio Synod Finance Committee and Global Mission Task Force, volunteers as the Chaplain Coordinator for the Westerville Public Safety Chaplains, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM).  Pastor Bull is married to Terry and has two grown children, Michael and Sarah.

Director of Administrative Ministries

Amy Drake (she/her) is the Director of Administrative Ministries. Amy is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and M. ED in Educational Foundations. She has served on Congregation Council and was SPYKIDS Coordinator. She and her husband Marshall, have two children; Cameron and Kaitlyn, and live in Sunbury.

Director of Music Ministries & Adult Choir Director

Karla Kruse (she/her) is our Director of Music Ministries and Adult Choir Director. Karla is a graduate of Ashland University with music performance and theater degrees. She also serves as chair of the Worship/Music Committee and has enjoyed several years as St. Paul’s wedding coordinator.

Director of Contemporary Music

Zachary R. Ruppel (he/him) is the Director of Contemporary Music at St. Paul Lutheran and leads the Praise Team. Zach holds a B.M in Music Education and Piano from Ohio University and Business Management Certifications from Ashland University. He is a past board member of the Equality Ohio c(4) Board of Directors, the Central Ohio Restored Citizens Collaborative, a graduate of JustLeaderhipUSA's Leading with Conviction 2021 cohort, and now serves as their Director of National Policy helping to create a more just society and to shape policies that work to heal communities. 

Bell Choir Director

Judy McLeod (she/her) is the Director of the "Bells of St. Paul".  A graduate of Capital University, Judy is a life long member of St. Paul and loves sharing the Gospel through the ringing of bells.

Organist

Philip Cordell (he/him) is our Organist/Pianist for our Traditional Services.
